BIRDING BY BOAT

Saturday, May 3

Bring your canoe or kayak as Audubon New York biologists guide you in a search for warblers, waders and other birds of the Northern Montezuma Wildlife Management Area, while experiencing parts of the Complex you may have never seen! Please bring your own canoe/kayak, life jackets, bug spray, and binoculars.

There are two excursions planned. The first is scheduled to launch at 10:30 am and will return to the parking area at noon. The second trip will depart at 1:30 pm and return at 3:00 pm.

Please see the map below to find the location of the launch site. While the map provides directions from the Montezuma Audubon Center, in order to provide sufficient parking visitors may be directed to parking lots in multiple locations, and can reach the MAC using the shuttles.
