The Montezuma Audubon Center is looking forward to the return of spring and hosting its Third Annual Wildlife Festival Saturday, May 2 from 10 AM to 4 PM. The purpose of this event is to provide a day for nature enthusiasts to discover the wonders of nature, the wealth of healthy living through recreation and the richness of history that surrounds this area. This year the event is focused on "farming for wildlife" or the actions that are taken by wildlife biologists, and that we can take as individuals, to restore and create habitat for birds and other wildlife.
We invite you to be a part of this exciting day by participating with your special interest in the outdoors. It will provide an opportunity to enhance the visibility of your organization and expertise and showcase your mission, products, services, projects or programs to a new audience. This year we added a "Made in the Finger Lakes" category of vendor to highlight the importance of shopping and eating locally for the benefit of wildlife and to decrease our carbon footprint.
